We design lasting brand identities, construct effective campaigns, build sensible websites, and communicate with great collateral.
Featured Work: Hooters goes back to the beach.
Facing increased competition, Hooters, Inc., realized they needed to shake things up a bit. At the end of 2010, 3SQ worked with Hooters to put together a comprehensive campaign refocusing on the core values of the concept. To do so, we put on our swimsuits, hopped in the company surf wagon, and headed to the beach, if only in our minds.
From there, we conceptualized an entirely new design language for Hooters' creative material, pulling inspiration from 1960's SoCal surf culture, Polynesian atolls, Caribbean paradises, and various other coastal locales. What better way to promote the iconic Hooters Girl than by portraying her in a beautiful beach atmosphere?
We've only just begun, the best is yet to come.
We're only a few months into the "Back-to-the-Beach" campaign. We're currently overhauling originalhooters.com and redesigning the in-store menus, so check back soon for updates. In the meantime, check out the ad campaign to the left.

Campaigns & Development
Hooters Bunday Monday
One of the latest Hooters promotional campaigns receiving influence from the "beach" design language is the Bunday Monday burger specials menu campaign.
3SQ gave the menu a laid-back "tiki shack" look using a variety of textures and illustration work. We also conducted a photo shoot to produce custom styled photos of the various burgers.
Pete & Shorty's Website
As Pete & Shorty's regulars, it was important to 3SQ that their new website communicate the friendly, neighborhood atmosphere and hearty midwestern fare for which the concept has become so well known.
Using a simple layout and navigation system, 3SQ incorporated character illustration, custom food photography, and charming rhetoric to create a genuinely inviting and friendly viewing experience.
Toasted Pheasant Menu
When Toasted Pheasant Bistro updated their menu to offer more variety in their European-inspired cuisine, they needed an improved menu design to help convey this new approach.
3SQ created a menu system that showcases a large amount of visual variety among different elements while ensuring that all imagery and artwork fall under the pre-established identity system for the brand.

Dog-e-Bag Email Marketing
3SQ created its own email marketing system used exclusively to drive traffic and sales for our clients. We design and code custom templates that build on the continuity of our clients’ campaigns.
A treasure box of creative capabilities.
If there's one thing we don't do here at the office, it's get bored. It just isn't possible when we stay involved working on various projects, from developing websites, photo shoots, designing menus, and editing HD video. Find out more about all the creative services we offer here.
Our philosophy is simple: create great work.
We take pride in not over-thinking things. That's not to say we always move forward with the first decent idea that comes to mind, but we're good at realizing when it's time to move a concept from the meeting room and into production. Then we just make sure it turns out great.
